Tommy Leahy with Leahy’s Inspections has been around Mansfield Texas for 30 years. Living on the border of Arlington and Mansfield, Tom’s kids attended and graduated from the Mansfield school district and knows the area and it’s characteristics well.

A little-known fact about Mansfield Texas is the town name was actually Mansfeild. R.S. Man and Julian Feild were the founders and built a mill here around 1856-1859. The community that developed around the mill took on the name of “Mansfeild”, a combination of the names of the founders. After years of repeated misspellings, Mansfield became the accepted name.
